MOOTSH PRINT SUBSCRIPTIONS


What is a Mootsh Print Subscription?

Le Mini / Le  Midi / Le Maxi Print Subscriptions are monthly print subscriptions that will encourage you to select the photos of your treasured moments regularly. We print them for you beautifully and mail them to your mailbox.


How much do a Print Subscription cost?

  • Le Mini = $15 / month
  • Le Midi = $20 / month
  • Le Maxi = $25 / month


What happens once I subscribe?

Once you subscribe, you will receive a welcome email with all the details related to your subscription and clear instructions for the next photo submission. 


How do the Print Subscription work?

  • You receive reminders and instructions by email on how to select and send your 10 favorite photos by the end of each month.
  • Your photos are printed on Matte Kodak Royal Digital Paper.
  • You receive them directly in your mailbox.
  • If some months you have more than 10 images to print, we can print your additional photos as well. Additional prints billing is calculated on the basis of your subscription price (pro rata).
  • If some months, you don't have any photos to send, your unused credits will roll over to the next month.



What paper do we use to print your photos?

Your photos are printed on Matte Kodak Royal Digital Paper.  Made to last, our photographic paper is coated with a light-sensitive chemical formula used specifically for making prints that maintain their quality, clarity and fine detail over time.


What does my print subscription include?


Le Mini

- 10 mini Mootsh signature prints. All pictures are printed on our mini prints (depending on the ratio you send):

  • Your rectangle photos will be printed on 4 x 3.25 in / 8 x 10 cm
  • Your square photos will be printed on 4x4 in (10 x 10 cm)
  • Your panoramic photos will be printed on 3.25 x 5.77 in (8 x 14.6 cm)

- A contact sheet of your 10 photos of the month (4 x 5 in / 10.2 x 12.7 cm)


Le Midi

A mix of 5 mini and 5 midi size prints:

- 5 mini prints printed on the following sizes (depending on the ratio you send): 

  • mini rectangular prints: 4 x 3.25 in / 8 x 10 cm 
  • mini square prints: 4 x 4 in / 10 x 10 cm
  • mini panoramic prints: 3.25 x 5.77 in / 8 x 14.6 cm

- 5 midi prints printed on the following sizes (depending on the ratio you send):

  • midi rectangular prints: 5 x 7 in / 12.5 x 17.5 cm 
  • midi square prints: 5 x 5 in / 12.5 x 12.5 cm

- A contact sheet of your 10 photos of the month (5 x 7 in / 12.5 x 17.5 cm)

A mix of 5 mini, 4 midi and 1 maxi size prints

Do I get to choose which print comes in which size?

If you subscribed to Le Midi or Le Maxi, you will receive a mix of print sizes.

You can either:

let us choose for you which size for which print. We call it "the Editor’s pick": surprise guaranteed every month! Most of our subscribers enjoy the surprise.

or 

choose for yourself which photos you wish to have printed in maxi, midi and mini sizes. If you wish to do so, simply let us know in your WeTransfer Notes using keywords to describe which photos you want in which sizes.


When do I need to send the photos?

Every month, you have until the last calendar day of the month to submit your photos. Starting one week before the deadline, we will send you 3 reminders to send your photos to make sure you don’t forget. 

If we haven’t heard from you on the evening of the last calendar day, we’ll send you a last reminder by sms.


How can I keep track of the photos I already sent?

Every month, when you submit your photos, you’ll receive an email with a contact sheet of your photos within 24 hours of submission. 

This will help you keep a record of your sent pictures. If you don’t remember what photos you sent on the previous month(s), you can always go back to these emails.

You will also receive a hard copy of this contact sheet every month, along with your 10 photos.


How do I send my photos?

We are working on developing an app to make it even easier for you to submit your photos every month. 

As of now, we strongly encourage the use of our dedicated Mootsh WeTransfer page. 

WeTransfer is by far the best option for sending high quality photos. It is safe, fast and allows you to easily access your camera roll and albums from your photos app or from your computer browser.

Alternatively, you can also send your photos to us via email, at photolab@mootsh.com. Depending on the file sizes, you may have to send your photos in several emails. Don’t forget to opt for ‘actual size’ when you are asked what size your photos should be sent as.


What happens if I forget to send my photos?

If you forget to send your photos, your unused photo credit will roll over to the next month.


What if I have more than 10 photos to send?

If you have more than 10 images to print, we can print your additional photos as well. Additional prints billing is calculated on the basis of your subscription price (pro rata + shipping if outside the USA).

After your photo submission, we will send you a personal payment link for your additional prints. 


What if I send my photos after the deadline?

Any photo received after the last calendar day of the month will be printed at the end of the following month. 


What is the cost of shipping?

Our 3 subscriptions: Le Mini, Le Midi and le Maxi include shipping for USA destinations.

We ship worldwide at extra cost. When you subscribe from another country than USA, make sure to check the shipping fees for your country at checkout.


When do I get billed?

Mootsh Print Subscriptions are monthly subscriptions and automatically renew on the 10th of every month (Pacific Standard Time), unless you choose to skip a renewal or decide to cancel your subscription. You can do both from your Mootsh personal account.


How long does it take to receive my photos after each submission deadline?

We ship your photos between the 4th and the 7th of the following month. You will therefore receive your photos within 5 to 8 business days (for US domestic destinations) after the submission cut-off date (last day of the month). 

You will get an email upon shipping of your photos. We do not offer tracking. 


How do I skip a month of photos?

If you know you won’t be able to send photos on the upcoming month, you have the opportunity to skip a renewal of your subscription. You can do so from your personal account, by editing ‘Your Subscription(s)’. 


How do I cancel my subscription?

The Mootsh Print Subscription is not for you after all? You can cancel at any time by editing ‘Your Subscription’(s) in your personal account


PERSONAL ACCOUNT


How do I create my personal account?

Your personal account is created at the time of your first check out, may it be for a Print Subscription, a Gift Subscription or an Album.


What information do I provide?

You’ll be asked to provide:

  • an email address: to access your personal account and to receive all notifications related to your all your purchases (Subscriptions, Gift Subscriptions or Albums)
  • a password: to access your personal account 
  • a mailing address: for the shipment of your purchased items
  • a phone number: we will only use your phone number in case we need to contact you and if we fail to reach you by email
  • your credit card information: either for your one-time purchase or for your subscription. When you purchase a print subscription, this credit card will be automatically billed every month on the 10th (Pacific Standard Time), with the amount of your subscription (+ shipping if your mailing address is outside the USA)


Can I skip a month of photo?

Yes! You can skip a renewal by editing your print subscription in your personal account

Make sure to do it before the 10th of the month (PST) in order not to be billed. 


How do I update my payment information

Login to your personal account and look for the “credit card” section. You’ll be able to update your payment information.


How do I change my address?

Login to your personal account and look for the “shipping address” section. You’ll be able to update your information.


How can I reactivate my account?

Login to your personal account and look for your former subscription. You’ll be able to “reactivate” your subscription. 


Help I forgot my password

Simply click on “forgot password”, you’ll receive a new one. Check your inbox! 


Help I forgot my email

Send us an email at info@mootsh.com and we’ll be able to let you know the user email you used to create your account.


How do I cancel 

Login to your personal account. In your subscription section, click “edit”. You’ll then be able to cancel your subscription. 


GIFT PRINT SUBSCRIPTIONS

What is a Gift Print Subscription?

Le Mini Gift / Le  Midi Gift / Le Maxi Gift Subscriptions are monthly print subscriptions that will encourage someone you love to select the photos of their treasured moments regularly. We print their photos beautifully and mail them to their mailbox.


How do I purchase a Gift Subscription for someone?

Go to the “Gifts” page our website. Choose Le Mini Gift, Le Midi Gift or Le Maxi Gift and the gift duration of your choice. 


How much does a print subscription cost? 

Go to the Gifts page to check the gift options and pricing. (Pricing includes shipping for USA destinations. It does not include taxes or shipping for destinations outside USA)


Can I purchase a gift subscription for someone outside the USA?

We do ship worldwide but at extra cost. When you buy a gift subscribtion for someone outside the USA, the shipping cost for the entire duration of the gift will be automatically added the total.


What happens once I purchase a gift for someone?

Once you purchase a gift subscription, you will receive a confirmation email with your order receipt. 

In the 24 hours following your purchase, you’ll receive a GIFT CARD that you can either print or forward to your gift recipient. 


How is my gift recipient get notified of their gift?

The gifter is the one responsible for notifying his gift recipient. As a gifter, you’ll receive a GIFT CARD to print or forward to the gift recipient. 


Is there a deadline to redeem a gift?

The gift recipient will have one year after the initial purchase of the gift subscription to redeem and start their print subscription.

How do I redeem my Gift Subscription?

When you receive a Mootsh Gift Card for a subscription, you can activate your Gift Subscription whenever it suits you until the deadline specified on your gift card.


Do I have a personal account on Mootsh.com?

You do not need an account on mootsh.com when under a gift subscription. 


What if I want to stop my gift subscription before the end of my gift?

If you realize that Mootsh isn't for you and you’d like to terminate your subscription before the end of your gift, you can simply send us an email at info@mootsh.com


What if I want to pause my subscription during the period of my gift?

It is not possible to pause a gift subscription.

PHOTO ALBUMS


How do I purchase an Album?

Our Photo Albums are in “La Boutique” page of our website.


How do I pair an album to a subscription?

When choosing a subscription or a gift subscription, you’ll be offered to add the album of your choice. You can also go to “La Boutique” and add an album before checking out.


What is the size of the Albums?

For now, we only offer one size album!  Our portrait size is 9x12in (23x30,5cm).

How are the Albums made?

Our Albums are hand-covered in Venice, California, using the finest bookcloth and beautiful heavy-weight Italian paper blocks in ivory pages.


How many pages do they have? 

Our Albums contain 30 spreads (60 usable pages), with page spacers and interleaved glassine sheets to protect your photos.


How many photos can they hold?

Depending on the sizes of your photos, our albums can hold between 60 and 350 photos (if all mini photos!). Our albums are perfect to hold at least one year of Le Mini, Le Midi or Le Maxi Subscriptions.


How do I paste my photos in my album? 

We strongly recommend archival double sided square or archival double sided tape.


When do I receive my Album?

Your Album is made to order and ready to ship in 3-5 business days


Can I personalize my Album?

How can I gift an Album?

  • You can purchase an album for someone by adding the album into your cart. Make sure to fill in the shipping address of your gift recipient. 

If you’d like to add a personal note for your gift recipient, make sure to send us an email at info@mootsh.com  

  • You can purchase an album for someone along with a gift subscription.
